"Just returned from a short stay in Barcelona. This hotel is about 30mins taxi ride from the airport. It is in a quieter location, about 45 mins walk to main part or €10ish in taxi. We didn’t get on metro so can’t comment on that. Ummmm would I stay here again? I don’t think I would… the rooms are shabby and need repairs doing for general wear and tear. Grouting mouldy around shower, paint scuffed on doors and skirtings, toilet roll holder coming off the wall, light fixing loose from ceiling, sliding wardrobe stiff making it difficult to open and floor panels loose with gaps in the floor. Cleaning could also be better; side tables dusty and hair left in shower and bath when we arrived. is a complete waste of money! The steam room wasn’t working and the jacuzzi was freezing! It’s also very small so in busier periods it would be very uncomfortable. We expected much more from this hotel considering the money we paid."

"Recently I stayed at the Melia Sky Hotel in Barcelona to celebrate a special occasion with some close friends. Our stay has superb from the moment we entered the building and smelled their signature fragance, which helped us relax right away and understand we had entered an oasis within the city. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful and the staff at their The Level reception was beyond nice. He was our accomplice with the surprise to one of the friends and even offered to help with booking the , despite us changing our minds every other minute about the time.We really enjoyed all the amenities at the hotel, from the The Level apperitivo, to their signature cocktails at their Sky Bar, their The Level Suite (spacious and with astonishing views of the Sagrada Familia) and, to me, the best of all: having breakfast with a 360 degree view of Barcelona.We will come back for sure!"

"Didn't get into the SPA on the first attempt. We had a booking at 16:00, but when we came on time we saw the following message and no one was on the counter. Contacted them via email and they handled the situation pretty well - we received two bookings for the price of one. On the second attempt everything went well, there was a sauna, jacuzzi area and showers. Not a very large space, but it works well for 2 to 6 people."

"My wife and I booked massages while staying at the Melia Sky Barcelona. I felt a little off (slightly dizzy) while booking, so I went straight to my room and took a Covid test, which was unfortunately positive. I called the spa (<20 minutes from being there) to tell them to cancel my treatment, but they rigidly enforced their 24-hour cancellation policy, saying that the only thing they could do would be to offer me $90 in facial products instead. I had several conversations with them and the hotel management expressing my frustration, but Melia could not help because the Serena Spa is a separate business. My wife said her treatment was enjoyable, but the staff was entirely unreasonable as I tried to do the right thing and prevent them from being exposed. Overall, my wife's treatment was decent, but I would recommend taking your business elsewhere."

"They never seem to have anybody at the desk. The one person who works the desk also does massages and there are always people waiting to check in for their appointment. They seem to keep people waiting at least 15 minutes over their appointment time. There was another customer who was waiting 25 minutes from her scheduled appointment time"
